Every child has their own strengths, interests and ways of communicating. At SportStarz, we take time to understand these, working alongside your staff to help pupils feel comfortable, supported and ready to take part.
We adapt activities, equipment and instructions to suit individual needs, recognising that participation and progress can look different for every child. Whether we're supporting pupils in a mainstream or specialist setting, our focus is on creating positive experiences where each child's contribution is valued.
Sensory Circuits
We provide structured sequences of movement activities, including balance, coordination and calming tasks. Working with school staff, we adapt the activities, pace and environment around pupils' individual sensory needs and existing support plans.
Provision in SEN Schools
We deliver adapted PE and physical activity in SEN schools, working closely with staff to fit sessions around pupils' communication, learning and support needs. Familiar routines, accessible activities and achievable challenges help pupils participate in ways that work for them.
Person-Centred Plans & EHCP Goals
We work alongside your school to shape individual activity plans around each pupil's strengths, interests and agreed priorities. Sessions incorporate relevant EHCP goals, creating opportunities to practise skills such as communication, interaction and independence, with observations shared to inform next steps.
Behaviour & Regulation Support
Through structured sport, consistent routines and clear communication, we help pupils practise managing frustration, taking turns and asking for support. We follow your school's agreed approaches, with the aim of reducing escalation and physical incidents where these are an identified concern.
